HEIC to JPG with no upload
Updated 19 October 2026
Most online converters send your camera roll to a server. HeicLocal decodes HEIC in your browser — image bytes never leave your device for conversion.
Why “no upload” matters
Photos can include faces, documents, and home interiors. A local converter keeps that off a random upload API.
How to verify
- Open DevTools (F12) → Network.
- Convert a HEIC on HeicLocal.
- Confirm there is no image POST — only the static page scripts.
What we host
- We only serve the static site and libraries. Conversion is client-side.
- EXIF/GPS is not copied into the JPG.
