HEIC to JPG on Windows
Updated 19 October 2026
iPhone saves many photos as HEIC. Windows apps and upload forms often want JPG. Convert in your browser — nothing is uploaded.
Why Windows won’t open it
HEIC is Apple’s efficient photo format. Without a codec or converter, Explorer and some apps show a blank icon or an error.
Three steps
- Open HeicLocal in Chrome or Edge.
- Drop your .heic files (or click to choose).
- Download JPGs — or one ZIP for a batch.
Tips
- No account, no install.
- Conversion stays in your tab — check DevTools → Network if you want proof.
- Many files? Select them all and use Download ZIP.
